  • How do I access my Membership Discount?
    The easiest way to access your membership discount is to go to the event you are interested in attending. Instead of ordering the tickets at full price Click on Membership Offer (Show Details) Click Login and input your membership Email and Password (or Get a Membership if you are not currently a member) Go ahead and now add your ticket to the event and you will see your discount will automatically apply!
  • I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
    This happens to us all on a all too frequent basis. Thankfully this is easy to reset. First go to member login Then you will click Current Member Log In Lastly you will select Forgot password and a link will be sent to your NEIFDA email account for your password reset.
  • How do I cancel my membership?
    Firstly, we are sorry to lose you as a member. These instructions will step you through the process without the awkward phone call. The best place to start is logging into your account. Input your member email and password Click on the down arrow next to your name and select My Subscriptions Click on Cancel Subscription and you won't be charged for any further membership dues :(
  • My credit card changed. How do I update my Membership Subscription Credit Card?
    This commonly happens to us all. Here are the quick steps to update the credit card we have on file for your membership dues. 1st - Log in to your account. Second - Click Log In and input your NEIFDA email account and password. Next Click on the down arrow next to your user name and select My Subscriptions Click Update Credit Card and input your new card information. This way your membership won't skip a beat!
  • How do I update a saved credit card for Event Tickets?
    Our website can securely store your credit card information so you do not need to input it each time you place an event order. Your credit card information is stored under your profile in the Wallet section. Here are instructions on how to access this. 1st - Log In into your membership account 2nd Login with your NEIFDA email and password credentials. 3rd Click on the down arrow next to your profile name and select My Wallet If you haven't added a credit card yet, go ahead and select Add new card
  • What does it cost to become a NEIFDA Member?
    The cost for Funeral Directors/ Embalmers looking to receive Continued Education credits (CEs) have annual dues of $50. The cost for Students/Retirees/Vendors looking to join and learn more about current events and share a wonderful meal have annual dues of $25. Both members will receive $10 discount admission tickets to our regular meetings and $40 discount to our Annual Spring Seminar . The membership covers our expenses, supports student scholarships, provides discounts for you and best of all it is entirely tax-deductible (discuss tax strategies with your accountant).
  • Where does the NEIFDA meet?
    We are commonly hosting our meetings in Lake County and the northern portion of Cook County Illinois. We host our meetings at restaurants that our members will find easy to access, has a suitable meeting space, and an excellent quality meal.
  • I am interested in presenting to the NEIFDA. How do I reach out to the organization?
    Thank you for your interest in sharing with our organization. The best way to reach the NEIFDA board is via email at board@neifda.org
  • How often does the NEIFDA meet?
    NEIFDA typically offers three evening meetings throughout the year. In addition, we offer an annual Seminar session which commonly consists of 7 Continue Education (CEs) hours in one day. The event is hosted at Worsham College in Wheeling, IL.
  • How do I access my event tickets?
    Your tickets should be emailed to you once the purchase has been completed. If you are like me, you have too many emails to keep track of so this process will walk you through on how to access your tickets from the website. 1st Login to your Account Next use your NEIFDA email and password to Log In Go to your user name and select the down arrow and go to my account Then you can click on Events All current events will show, go ahead and click the down arrow to expand the information for the event you are interested in Then you can download your tickets onto you computer, print them out and bring them to the meeting
